 WORK HERE . GO TO THE ARTISTS PERSONAL GALLERY AND IT THERE!Fav here!!!: [link] Artist's Comments This is the final draft of the previous photo "Monica". The assignment was to portray a quote from a song or poem, or even your own diary, onto a photo. I chose this photo out of the photos I took of her because it was pretty much the only one that came out. Isn't that sad? The idea is, though, full is not heavy as empty-- a reference to the ultimate truth of beauty, for me (and yes, of eating). Her face, so close, and especially her eyes, leave room for only the ultimate truth of her beauty, and the ultimate truth of the weight in being empty. It could be love, too, or emotion, or attention, or reality, anything really, but that's what it is to me. The song is from Fiona Apple, entitled "The First Taste". I wanted to do a quote from "Paper Bag" (one of my favorite Fiona songs-- "Hunger hurts, but starving works when it costs too much to love") but... I don't want to reveal that to my photography teacher. I considered even doing this, and especialy including the last two words. I'm over-analyzing. Please tell me what you think! Thank you. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
